Australian National Yo-Yo Championships 2006

Postby retch » Thu Feb 23, 2006 8:06 pm

Hi, for those of you unfamiliar with my nick: it's Brad Forschinger from Australia.

You might know me from competitions such as Worlds and AP. Now Australia is returning the favour.

WHEN: 28 May 2006.
WHERE: St Stephen's Hall, 189 Church St (just off King St!). Newtown NSW 2042 Australia. This is the same place that the jugglers use on Wednesdays.
HOW: from the airport, take a train to Newtown -- you'll have to change trains at Central. From the city, look for a 422, 423, 426, or 428.
WHO: Confirmed judges are Ben McPhee from Australia, and Dimi from Malaysia.
WHAT: We will be doing A, Y, and sports ladder.
HUNGRY: Sausage sizzle for lunch. Have your buttered slice of bread at the ready.

For more information please head to http://yoyos.com.au/champs/.

The venue is located about 20 metres from King Street, in the heart of Newtown. This is a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, and pubs.

See you there!

P.S. A big thanks to the jugglers for helping us out with the venue!

Liverpool isn't that far from Newtown. The walk would be a couple of hours and the train ride far quicker.
