I don't know of any updates, but last yrs was a one day thing (on the sunday) so you should be able to get back in time for the conf.

I think it would be better to have it on the saturday then people can get back on the sunday rather than having to take an extra day off work. But I suppose we have to work in with the SJC.

but yeah, if theres anymore news let us know.

I'm finalising everything at the moment, and will have the website updated over the next couple of days. Just waiting to hear back from the jugglers about costs and so forth.

The comp will be held at the same venue as last year (SCEGGS, Darlinghurst, 215 Forbes Street), and it'll be on the Monday (Jan 28th). As it's going to be held as part of the Juggler's Convention again, we're unable to make it any other day due to it being the only day they can fit us in.

Though the actual competition will be on the Monday, there will no doubt be a few activities (james squires anyone?) happening over the weekend.

Cool enough, I figured it would be on the last day. . .pity :(

I'm sure we'll be hitting up james squire a few times. . . :D

Also it would be good to get numbers so we can get some accomodation organised. It would be good to know how long people are thinking of staying in sydney for as well, it'll be cool to have all the out-of-towners staying together - gives a real cool atmosphere.

At this stage I'll be going for the whole weekend arriving friday (possibly thursday if work permits), probably going back on the tuesday/wednesday, again depending on work.

has the accomodation location been chosen yet? If so I would like to know how far away from the air port it is. Thinking if we some of us get there around the same time we could share a taxi or something.

Yeah, Arriving and meeting at the airport would probably be the best thing if its possible, as some of us may not be able to get there at that time/day.

I think its better to have accom closer to darling harbour and where the comp is going to be held as these are where we're going to spend more of our time and being in walking distance of these places would be best - as we're only traveling to/from the airport twice.

Not sure of where we will be staying - depends on numbers and where rooms are avaliable, which is why I'm trying to get it organised now as last time we had to go to where ever had room. I think billabong gardens is our 1st choice though.

And yeah, most backpackers have a airport shuttle service so transport shouldn't be a problem.
