What brand silicon do you use?

Postby Dented » Tue Dec 30, 2008 12:21 pm

I recently bought a takesh modded fhz from yoyonation and wondered what sort of silicon should I use when the response wears out. Brand and price would be useful. Thanks.

Honestly, silicone all plays the same. Some wear out faster than others and I'm still on the quest to find the perfect silicone. I've tried pretty much the whole Seileys range and havn't found the clear stuff that lasts longer than others.

Permatex has some good stuff - check it out here...

High Temperature gasket silicone plays a bit differently to the standard stuff.
Corking stuff works pretty good too!
Experiment if you got the time (and money...)
