Cheap yoyo haul 27/11.

Hi all,

Another day of pointless yo-yo purchases from my local shopping centre. The first being somewhat interesting:

A metal butterfly for $5.99 with o-rings, starburst response and a ghetto cheap bearing with a plastic racer. However it is concave.

A cheap imperial from the Reject Shop.

The top one is cool. It is stamped metal, which makes it cheap to make. The problem being it is hard to add any threads, bearing seat etc. the plastic insert thing is a real novel solution. I have been a fan of this for a while and cheap Chinese yoyos were the first I saw it on. In the stainless whistling yyf yoyo we worked with a vendor to get the seats (more) precise and added the option of a large bearing pad response, making it interchangeable.

The package is cool too, bootleg power-yo packaging. :)

It's kind of funny the amount of effort they've put into the yoyo what with the concave (yet terrible) bearing and the orings for added weight.

Even with all that, it still plays like a sack of crap. ;)
